T'was the week after Christmas...

Our Christmas in New York
has come to an end.

The pretty ornaments are all put away.

including the new one added by
our son and his wife

The Santas are all wrapped and stored away.

The homemade stockings are out of sight too.

All the Christmas Tree Spode is packed away
for another year.

The celebrations are over.

My favorite platter is tucked away too.

We had yummy treats and tea to help us along...

My Walton truck is packed as well.
(A friend in Oklahoma made this with each
little trinket relating to a character

 from the family).

You have to love the license plate.
Good night John Boy
1920

We are back in Florida.
Lady B is here too.
We guess it's time to wish you all a Joy-filled,

tea-driking, fun loving
New Year!

Enjoyed seeing your lovely Christmas decorations. I know I must pack mine away, but I hate to. I will miss the coziness they provide during Michigan's wintry days. Enjoy Florida's warm sunshine, and best wishes for a Happy 2013!

Never easy to take down, but I was glad to have things back in order - a bit sparse but when the creativity strikes me I shall finish that very fun 7th layer of design!

I absolutely adore your Goodnight, John Boy" truck your friend made you - how thoughtful, what fun things all around it, love that black Bible.

So cute.

Enjoy The Sunshine State.

Happy New Year!!

Fun looking at all your beautiful Christmas decorations. Sitting Santa is a jolly old soul.
Green with envy! - the Walton truck is perfection, and wonderfully constructed by a very talented lady.
Your exquisite clock and painting make a most compatible pairing.
Tick-tock-'Goodnight, Dame Ruthie.' :)

Hi Ruthie,
Thank you for visiting my blog.
Yes I had visited your blog before but did not leave message. You three girls look very young, do not look like you are at 65.

I love your Christmas decoration especially the homemade stockings.

Keep the tea party alive!

P.S. I am from Hong Kong (China)

Love the tree, stockings, santas and of course, the Walton truck. It's always a little sad to put away the treasures of Christmas. But they'll be back for another year and will be just as lovely again. Thanks for sharing.
