Queen Victoria 1887

This little gem is from the same year 1887. It is unusual as the Queen's image is in profile put on a type of postage stamp with circular insets of Winsor and Balmoral castles. The rose, shamrock and thistle are present on the mug symbolizing England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Queen Victoria

Not quite a tea cup this Thursday but a beautiful glass dish commemorating fifty years of Victoria's reign from 1837 to 1887. I just love this dish, treasure it actually. The crown and laurel leaves are so lovely . I love the initials V and R as well. I hope you enjoy this.
