The first born child

This is an interesting peice. It commemorates the birth of the first child, however it was released before William was born so it has both pink and blue ribbons and it has no date on it.

The wedding cup of Charles and Diana

This beautiful loving cup commemorates Charles and Diana's wedding at St. Paul's Cathedral on July 29,1981. I watched the wedding on TV as my son was only 20 days old and I was awake anyway. This is Paragon English Bone china. This one was actually numbered.

Queen Elizabeth II

Fast forward to 1953 and the coronation of the present Queen. This piece is Royal Winton china

My first piece of china

This was purchased at Thousand Islands Park. It was the beginning of a now vast collection. The year was 1937 and it marked the coronation of King George VI ( the king's speech king). It was also the debut of the beloved Queen Mother great grandmother to Prince William
I am officially calling this Great Britain week culminating with the marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton. To commemorate, I will be sharing my collection of commemorative Royal china
