I thought I would include this little gem. I think its timely since Fergie was excluded from the wedding. This commemorates Andrew and Fergie's engagement. It is dated the 19th of March, 1986. The bottom says Wilton's Dorincourt with the name John Pierce. it also says "This loving cup No. 60 of a limited edition of 100. The inside of the cup says " Created Duke of York 10.00 a.m. 23rd July 1986." The initials on the front are joined red circles in front of a gold anchor. Don't you just love history??

Well, Im back from Florida and hope to stay put for awhile. Speaking of Florida, I went to a darling tea room in Delray called TeaLicious. While I was browsing the shelves, I came across this treasure! It is a commemorative teacup from Queen Elizabeth's coronation on June 2nd, 1953. It is gorgeous, and the flowers in the center are the English Rose, the Scottish thistle and daffodils (Northern Ireland perhaps?). Oh yes, I see a shamrock! It's always so much fun to discover a new treasure.

This is the Royal Wedding program which we purchased in Green Park. It is exactly like the one from Westminster Abbey except it is smaller in size. I guess there had to be a distinction between the Royals and their subjects.

I brought this back for my daughter Erica. I really hate to part with it, but I'll be the good Mother (ha ha).
This cup and saucer was made by Royal Worcester. It is fine bone china and 22 carat gold. The collection was designes by William Edwards. This may turn out to be my favorite, but I did order a loving cup made by Royal Derby so we shall see which I like better when that comes. I ordered it from Harrod's as their stock was sold out. Surprise, surprise!

This is a little dish that my friend Dick brought back for me. I love it because it has the Duke of Cambrige's full name.

Isn't this interesting? I just brought back the Kate & Wills mug and it matches the one I had for Charles and Diana. Wow! Same engagement ring and same mug!!!

This beautiful little enamel box was brought back for my friend Ruthie. It is made by Halcyon Days and has lovely little roses and the initials of Catherine and William. The bottom is a beautiful robin's egg blue. It was purchased on the 29th...the day of the wedding and they were serving cupcakes in the shop. So many festivities!
Hello Everyone, I'm home from London. I had a brilliant time. Watched the wedding on the jumbotron in Green Park. Everyone was so nice. No rowdy behavior and we all felt happy sharing in the experience. And of course, as soon as Kate emerged from her car the sun came out and stayed out. Actually the weather was perfect for the entire trip. What memories. I also got to see an old school chum who I haven't seen in over 30 years! Ah the memories I made. Thank you Andy from the bottom of my heart.
